BIRTHDAYS:  Happy Birthday to Josh Felling!

NEW:  There is a free community performance of the high school One Act Play, 937 by Don Zolidis, Wednesday, January 24 at 7:00 pm in the Auditorium.  This historical drama chronicles the perseverance of the St. Louis’ Jewish passengers and their struggle to find freedom, safety, and love.  Come support these students as they prepare for competition on Thursday!

The last day of the semester is Thursday, January 25.  There is no school on Friday, January 26.

Junior and senior boys who love being the center of attention: There are sign ups for Mr. St. Anthony in Ms. G's room, room 310. If you are interested, please pick up a form and give it back by TOMORROW. If we don't have enough candidates, the program will be cancelled. That would be sad. The program is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 31.

There will be a PSEO Informational Meeting for students and parents on February 7th at 6:30 pm in the Auditorium.


NEW: All Speech Team members should stop in and see Mrs. Nelson today to schedule a speech practice for this week.  Remember that Laura and Karin are gone and we have our first speech meet on Saturday!

NEW: Mathletes- Today is the big day - time to solidify your hold on 1st place!  The math league meet today is at home, so be ready to go, no matter what the weather has to offer.  Please meet in the commons by 3:00 so we can solidify the scoring team lineup.  There will be some additional practice problems and some healthy snacks to enjoy.

The HS Parent meeting scheduled for tonight has been RESCHEDULED to February 5 at 6:30 pm in the Media Center.

Join the St. Anthony Villagers for Community Action for Knit night- a night to bring English and Spanish speakers together for socializing, exchanging language skills, and knitting!  Jan. 23, Feb. 6, Feb. 20, March 6, and March 20 from 7-8:30 pm at Nativity!  See the attached flyer for more info!

On Sunday February 4th St. Anthony Boosters Softball will be hosting a FREE youth umpire training. This is an incredible opportunity for those familiar with softball rules of play to gain income-earning skills to carry them through high school and beyond. Training will be provided by elite NCAA umpire Laurie Dinneen. We'll even get you out of there in plenty of time to get to your superbowl festivities.

The basketball teams are holding a fundraiser TONIGHT from 5-9 pm at the St. Anthony Chipotle.  Bring in the attached flyer for half of your purchase to be donated to the basketball team!

Vote for Ms. Hodson as America’s Favorite Crossing Guard! Safe Kids Worldwide is holding a contest for America's Favorite Crossing Guard. The nominee for Minnesota is Jolene Hodson from Wilshire Park School. During January, you'll be able to vote once a day through the end of the month. A judging panel will review the top 5 crossing guards and pick a winner. The winner's school will receive a $500 grant, and the crossing guard will win some cool prizes.Go to this link to cast your vote (daily)

SAV For the Future Saturday Feb. 10
It's time to gather as a community to have a great time for a great cause - our schools!  The SANBE foundation and Endowment are hosting the SAV for the Future dinner and Fundraiser at Jax Cafe in Northeast.  All proceeds from the event go towards funding innovative grants for teachers and programs within the St. Anthony - New Brighton School District.
