Activities and Athletics Recognized for its Character Development

The Athletics and Activities Department of St. Anthony Village High School was recently recognized by Athletic Management magazine.  The article highlights the InSideOut Initiative in which coaches and advisors focus on character development with student participants as well as skill development for a particular sport or activity.

In an email to coaches and advisors, Dr. Troy Urdahl, Director of Athletics, Activities, and Facilities for St. Anthony-New Brighton School District shared, "This article highlights all of the great things you have done at St. Anthony as coaches and advisors.  We have worked closely together as a team for a number of years dreaming about what we can accomplish through educational athletics and activities.  We have spent a lot of time developing our purpose statements and how to provide transformational experiences for our participants.  I hope the message of this article can serve as a great motivator for all of us to do more this year to make the 2017-2018 school year the best one yet!  Dream, talk, do!"
