Announcements for June 8

BIRTHDAYS:  Happy Birthday to Audrey Stumpf, Daniel Torres, and James Frigstad!  Birthday greetings to all staff and students that celebrate their birthdays over the summer!

If you missed the PSEO meeting and still plan to enroll in PSEO classes next year, see Ms. Edwards ASAP!

Reminder that all PE lockers need to be cleaned out completely by 3 pm TODAY!  All unclaimed items will be donated on Friday June 9th. Also the storage room in the girls locker room needs to be emptied and cleaned by Tuesday June 6th. Mrs. Potts and Mrs. Mussell do not want to clean up after you so please come take your stuff.

Attention volleyball players who will be in grades 9-12 next year, in each office is a schedule of all scheduled summer activities.  Please pick one up and we look forward to seeing you in the gym!  Also, if you still want to go to the Augsburg camp but did not turn in your paperwork, yet, you can still attend.  Bring all completed forms to camp on Monday morning.

Any student in grades 7 through 12 next year who is interested in boys swimming should see Mr. Urdahl in the HS office. Boys swimming is a winter sport.

Attention all athletes interested in a fall sport next school year: Registration for fall sports can be done online, beginning July 17th at  The preseason registration meeting and fall sports team meetings will be held on August 7th at 6:30pm in the HS/MS Auditorium.  Fall school sports begin on August 14th.  Families with any questions about a sport can also find coaches' contact information on the website. All athletes need a sports qualifying physical from within the last three years to register for a sport.  Fall sports for high school athletes include: girls tennis, volleyball, football, boys and girls cross country running, girls swimming,  and boys and girls soccer.

Now is the time to sign up for Maximum Intensity Training to get in shape and be ready for the fall season. MIT gets you stronger, faster, and more explosive while having a great time. Remember, "Champions are built in the off-season!" There are brochures in the office or sign up online at the STA Community Services Website.

Today’s Lunch:  Beef Hot Dog and Deli Sandwich.  No Salad bar, Grill, or Deli Line.

None today.

Would you like a way to celebrate, support, honor, acknowledge, cheer on or encourage a friend, your student athlete, or your grandchild?  We are reviving the Path of Pride and we want you to be a part of it. For $20, you can purchase a PAW on the path that leads to the stadium. You’ll be able to see the painted paws prior to the start of the 2017 - 2018 school year!  Maybe a few students want to go in on a paw to support a friend, or a neighbor wants to support a kid on their block? This can be for any High School student participating in any sport or activity. If you’re interested, please print out the attached flyer, fill it out and send it to school with your child, enclose the $20 and have them drop it with Erica Sonnenberg in the HS Office or

contact Angela Martin @ or Mary Halet @  for an address to send your form and money to or for more details.  This fundraiser is sponsored by the Huskies Football Parent Group.
